Just finished up an exciting month of March photographing some beautiful talent over at Tonie's Dance Workshop! I was very impressed with these two girls in particular. They graciously allowed me to interview them for my blog, and of course I can't resist a chance to brag on the dancers here!  They look like twins at first glance, because their buns are so neat!  They are the same size and they are both in the 7th grade. Let me introduce you to Hylee Nguyen (black pants) and Journi Leigh Arnold (lavender pants)... both students of the beloved Stacey Graham! They both mention she is a beautiful dancer as well as an amazing person... Hylee says, " Ms. Stacy is the best! I love taking her classes!  She choreographed my solo this year and I absolutely love it!". That is certainly high praise for Ms. Stacey! I know she loves these two, as well!  Who wouldn't???? I'd bring them home with me if their mom's would let me!!!

Journi tells me she takes 7 classes. Contemporary, tap aad jazz are her favorites but she loves ALL of her classes at Tonie's Dance Workshop! She also reports that all of the teachers are FUN! She has been a teacher's assistant for the past 3 years. 

Hylee is a competitive dancer. She has two solos, two duets and three group dances this year, as well as assists in 3 other classes.

Gosh these girls are busy!

I got to spend time with Hylee and Journi at the studio because they assisted in posing some of the younger students! Ms. Tonie never takes her eyes off what is going on here, but it was plain to see these girls had the enthusiasm as well as the know how to pose, to make the girls comfortable and make our time here go by making good memories for us all.  These photos really make me smile because they were "just for fun".

They have a little advice for the younger students of Tonie's:  PRACTICE AT HOME! Make friends at the studio and keep trying! Never give up because if you practice enough you can make it happen!

Thank you girls for being so warm and friendly! You'll go far!
