Family Beach Photography

A beach photography session is really a lot of fun!  (especially here in Panama City Beach!) Family bonding, laughing, running, playing in the water! Every family is different and we strive to have good communication so that your family will have the ultimate session! I have found that the more brains, the better...with babies and small children they are usually in charge. With older kids they have their own ideas and we work together. Maternity, proposals, seniors... We do it all. Start time is 45 minutes before sunset and ends at last light.

Prices include digital images, high resolution, usually around 75 images for a 45 minute session. 

YES! I GIVE YOU ALL YOUR PHOTOS EDITED AND READY TO PRINT!!!!! YAY! 

I deliver by Google Drop within  4-5 days.  Because I know you want them ASAP  It comes to your email and is a sharable link. This way your entire group can have access to all the photographs! If you'd like your images on a flash drive that is a 35.00 upgrade, but I'm happy to do it for you if it makes life easier for YOU!

1-4 people 400.00

5-7 people 450.00

8-9 people 500.00

10-14 people 600.00

15-18 people 750.00

19-20 people 800.00

 

Either party (photographer or client) may cancel if rain chance is 50% or greater the day of session and will receive refund for deposit

Cancellation by client must be done by 1:00 pm on day of session to receive refund

Rarely does it rain all day here in Florida so we may need to adjust your session to an earlier time of day. That can be discussed day of session!

Tips for a successful photo session!

Think about what you might wear as a group. Look on Pinterest. I have an entire board dedicated to outfits for beach sessions! Also I talk about prepping for your session on one of my blogs.  Avoid fussy collars... it's windy out here! Also avoid pin strip shirts!  FEED THE BABIES RIGHT BEFORE OR ON THE WAY... NO, NOT OREOS... HA... Maybe a baggie of cherrios. I'm not against bribery! You can straighten the kids out later... but for this hour we need happy kids, so don't put too much stress on the babes.  This beach photo session is FUN and PLAY TIME.  If it is July or August and you have a "sweaty" man, bring him an extra shirt!  My editing includes straightening your horizon, fixing a bruise or mole, warming up your sky if needed,  also removing extra people from your photos. In my experience cool colors and pastels just look more relaxing than warm colors (reds, orange)... Also navy blue has been popular for a couple of years, I'll be honest, it's not my favorite.  However, baby blue, sky blue, teal, dusty rose look beautiful. Will your family be jumping and running or sitting in the sand? Your outfit will have to accommodate these activities!  Call me if you'd like to get my input. Bring towels and change of clothes for little ones that may get wet at the end, or if you have a 2 year old that is a "runner" and may take off into the gulf. (bring another pair of shorts for the runners!!!! Also you can look on my FB page for real families and what they chose to wear for their session.   FB  Jan Simmons Photography... It can give you some ideas. Oh... I see your husband's phone in his pocket.  Just leave it in the car!  Let's BOOK that Family Beach Photography Session!!!
